  • Trip starts in Erzurum and ends in Van. Erzurum and Van has airports but those are only for domestic flights. So it can be a good idea to fly Istanbul first and find a connection from there.
  • This trip is graded "Difficulty IIII" - This is where it gets serious. At this level we recommend previous experience of the activity involved, as conditions will be tough. You need complete confidence in your physical condition and your ability to participate in the activity, perhaps for long periods of time, over consecutive days or under difficult circumstances. Trips may experience high altitude, extremes of temperature, remoteness, long days or difficult terrain. Tough trips represent the ideal grade for those experienced in adventure travel who want to push themselves out of their everyday comfort zone.
